Bunch going on that you know you all need to know about.

What does conservative mean? What does that word mean anymore? Back in my

dad's day, you know, he thought he was a conservative and Eisenhower representative

self as a conservative and what they, and in fact what they said, was that,

I mean, William F Buckley famously said a conservative is a man who stands astride

the arc of history with his hand-out shouting,

stop.

And that was, you know, my dad's definition was,

he'd say, you know, I share all your goals for social progress in this country it's just

that we need to do them slowly carefully thoughtfully so we don't disrupt our

society now that was used as an excuse by many conservatives

to fight integration or desegregation, to fight women's rights, to fight all

kinds of things.

You know, my dad never made those specific arguments,

but that's how it was used.

But I think that since 1978, really in a big way,

1979, I guess, would be the magic turning year.

The definition of the word conservative has changed.

But at its core what we're seeing right now is that Donald Trump has corrupted pretty much every

federal agency from the EPA to the IRS to the Department of Justice and that's the one that frankly I think should
