Hey, this is Meredith. June 7th, 2002 was the day that Martin and Gracia Burnham had prayed for.

They didn't know the date on the calendar. They just knew that one way or another, eventually the

nightmare they'd been living, would come to an end. Unbeknownst to Martin and Gracia, their names

had been in the news headlines. Thousands were praying for them. Although they had previously

lived quiet lives

far off the grid for more than a year, and especially since the 9-11 attacks, their names and

their situation had become international news. Since June 7, 2002, Gratia has been telling

her story of hope, healing, even forgiveness.
