0:56.4	We'll start with news of China's Commerce Ministry, saying that the talks with Europe about setting minimum prices for Chinese-made EVs are almost done.
1:05.3	But more work is needed to finish the deal. These talks started after the European Union put high tariffs on Chinese EVs last year,
1:12.5	saying they had an unfair advantage from government help, hard to disagree with that. That has slowed
1:18.2	down some of the Chinese EV progress over here. Chinese companies are focused on plug-in hybrids
1:23.2	in some parts of Europe, which don't have the tariffs, which is crazy, right? We want to go EV.
1:29.4	The EU is all about clean air, and yet they only put tariffs on pure EVs. So the Chinese went,
1:35.7	great, we'll just make combustion cars with batteries. Crazy. Anyway, that led to intense talks
1:43.6	between the Chinese and the Europeans. B.Y.D. and Cherry,
1:47.4	a couple of names saying that they would actually build facilities over here to get around the tariffs.
