He has a number one New York Times bestseller. I am pretty sure there are some people in the audience who might have bought the book already.

It is funny and impure-ating in equal measures because that's who Rick is.

And without much further ado, here's our conversation which this week was structured by you, the audience, because we went on on Twitter and asked what would you like to ask Rick?

It is our ask Rick Wilson anything episode, something we'll probably do again. With no further ado, here he is.

So it's interesting when I went to listeners to ask you questions, a lot of them had really much more specific questions than the kind of stuff you and I generally talk about, which is pretty philosophical, I think.

And they want to talk about some specific races. They want your insight as a strategist on specific races.

So since that is happening right now, let's talk about it. Let's talk about Florida just for instance.

Let's talk Florida.

Yeah.

Well, the two big Marpsley races, obviously, the governor's race, kind of between the Sanctus and Andrew Dylan.

Both sides got their fondest ideological wish. You've got a Trump or on one side and a semi-Bernie bro on the other.

I will point out, wait, wait, just one thing. He did support Hillary Clinton. Gillum did.

So it's not.

So I know.

Okay.

All right.

But what we have here is a situation where the two candidates are talking from the edges out, not from the edges in.

And so Andrew Dylan is talking to the most progressive Democrats. The Sanctus is talking to the Trumpiest of Trumpers.

And both of these guys are going to do a base only race, which is going to leave a huge number of voters in the middle, unaddressed unless one of them makes a pivot at some point.
