Our special guest was John Furling, author of Shots Heard Round the World.

Dr. Furling is a professor emeritus of history at the University of West Georgia.

Aside from his most recent book, Dr. Furling is known for great many books about the

American Revolution, including Almost a Miracle, the American victory in the War of Independence,

and also the book Winning Independence.

Dr. Furling joined us via Zoom for a discussion of his most recent book about the international

aspects of the Revolutionary War.
