Hey y'all, this is Rachel and here is a quick word on how you got here.

Okay, so it is early morning.

I apologize that my voice sounds like I haven't had coffee yet because I haven't.

But I am about to head to the airport to jump on a flight with my kids.

And before I leave this hotel room, I really wanted to share a thought that's been swirling

around in my brain today.

I was at an event this last weekend and I was at this event with a lot of dudes, honestly.

I was like trying to think of how to explain who I was with some dudes.

I was with a bunch of dudes, lots of dudes in their late 20s, early 30s, and I had a conversation

with one of them, which was really powerful for me because honestly, the work that I do

is predominantly skewed towards women.

I love to think that I have people all over the world of every kind of every background

of every history, everybody like in a dream world, everybody's listening to myself.

But honestly, I am creating through the lens of what I am, which is a woman in my 30s.

I'm a mama, I'm a friend, I'm a sister, I'm a daughter.

And so I tend to create content through my own perception.

And in getting to have a conversation with this man this last weekend, I got a really

beautiful insight into sort of what I feel like a younger generation of men is processing

or going through.

And what I'm going to share today is applicable no matter who you are, but I do want to honor

that it came from a man because I think what I'm discovering and spending time with younger

men, that sounds weird.
