0:06.6	four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are the stories
0:11.8	of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the
0:14.6	parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles. So here's how this works.
0:19.2	I will read three chapters to you today. We're doing all four books in 30 days, so that's
0:24.8	about three chapters a day. I'll read them to you, you can listen, you can also
0:28.4	watch on YouTube if you'd rather, you can read along in your own Bible and then I'll pray and that is it. We'd love to hear what is standing out to you as well.

0:57.5	we are on page 115. Mark 4. Once again Jesus began teaching by the lake shore. A very large crowd soon
1:11.8	gathered around him so he got into a boat.
1:14.0	Then he sat in the boat while all the people remained on the shore.
1:18.0	He taught them by telling many stories in the form of parables such as this one.
1:22.0	Listen, a farmer went in the form of parables such as this one.

1:27.0	As he scattered it across his field, some of the seed fell on a footpath and the birds came and ate it.
1:32.0	Other seed fell on shallow soil with
1:34.9	underlying rock. The seed sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow, but the
1:40.0	plant soon wilted under the hot sun and since it didn't have deep roots it died.
