And I've got some really stupid questions to ask because we have not focused very much

on the question of prop circles.

I think a lot of our listeners have heard two different things.

One, of course, they're familiar with the movie Science from M. Night Shyamalan,

where, you know, that was basically kind of a 1950s kind of horror thriller, which began with

the observation of crop circles in a field. Then, of course, there are the stories that the reason

we have crop circles is because people at night go ahead with their lawnmowers or whatever

and they cut out the things in the field and that most of them are all of them are fake.

So guys, how did you two get involved in studying crop circles?

For myself, I began in 1984 while doing UFO research. I have lifelong experiences of UFOs and

parapsychological experiences. And while staying in touch with what's happening worldwide back

in the mid-80s with UFOs, I noticed that crop circles were

increasingly, or I should say, ground trace evidence was turning up in increasing numbers

in England, particularly near ancient sacred sites, which made my ears prick up. And so I kept a

close watch on those right up until 1990 when the phenomenon in England just exploded.

And it was the same time basically as the subject reaching world news.
