And I'm Anna Palmer. Thought we were done with Republicans trying to overhaul health care? Think again.

While President Donald Trump has said he's ready to move on to tax reform, behind the scenes, top White House officials are still calling Republican lawmakers to try and

find a deal on health care reform. The effort has many Hill Republicans scratching their heads.

One sharp Republican makes this observation. The White House doesn't have a good grip on internal

congressional dynamics. OMB director Mick Mulvaney, VP Mike Pence, and HHS secretary Tom Price, the leaders of

this health care reform effort are all former lawmakers, but they've all also lost internal party

elections on Capitol Hill. The buzz in the West Wing and on Capitol Hill is that Mick Mulvaney

is on the rise in the Trump orbit. So when thinking about up-and-comers in the administration,

think less about Gary Cohn, a New York City Democrat, and more about Mulvaney, a polished

former congressman from the South who can keep up with Trump on his golf game. Mulvaney

has a single-digit handicapped. It's also a sign of how quickly Trump can shift his

loyalties. 17 executives are heading to the White House today for a strategic and policy forum meeting

led by Stephen Schwartzman.

The meeting is a follow-up from a February session.

They'll meet in breakout sessions with cabinet secretaries before a larger listening session.

He's installed loyalists in top positions all across the country.

Administration aides like Kellyanne Conway are also being dispatched to key states like New Hampshire

and North Carolina in coming weeks.
