We're kicking off 2023 with two conversations.

First, an Apple mystery gadget update from reporter Wayne Ma who covers Apple for the information

and has new details about Apple's long in the works virtual reality slash augmented reality

headset, which he thinks will be out this year.

Wayne is based in Asia. He's really plugged into Apple's supply chain. He's got interesting details

about the device. But I think it was also useful for us to talk about the way Apple's thinking about

this gadget, at least in the near term. They think this tech is the future, but not the near future.

And that means whenever you see

this thing debut, which again, could be this year and could cost $3,000. You're not really expected

to go out and buy one. This is going to be for hobbyists and developers and hardcore Apple nerds. So
