There's been a lot of talk that Apple was investing heavily into AR. A lot of conversation around that,

of course putting all those various scanners into the devices and showcasing some of the applications for

augmented reality on some of their pre-existing devices so people thought okay this

must be the start of something.

Experimentation, where is it leading, where are the glasses, the apple glasses, which we've

talked about in the past, which people are excited about. They think they think okay maybe this is the next

maybe this is your next phone that it's just you wear it on your face or maybe this is the

next big shift in tech that we have this augmented vision.

It's a very science fiction proposal, but it is something that seems feasible.

It seems, you can imagine a future in which you have your

navigation right displayed like a HUD over top the real world or your

notifications popping up in such a fashion. Some people will think this is the coolest thing ever.

Others may think that this future is terrifying,

but it seems to me that it's inevitable that some form of it

will eventually be a thing that we collectively are doing.

This report today seems to indicate that prior to getting all the way there,

Apple may first go with a VR headset with some AR features.

Now the Quest is a completely wireless, all in one package for VR. It doesn't have any AR features, correct?

It has a function called pass-through, where it has cameras at the front, so you can see what you're looking.
