Back in either August or September, Mayo, we talked about how some of Coldplay's concerts at Wimbley Stadium in London over the summer had been filmed with Apple's, or, well, not apples, with black magics, like immersive video camera.

And the natural speculation at the time was that, oh, maybe Apple and Colplay are working something

up and you'll be able to watch these Wembley shows in immersive video on Apple Vision Pro.

As a Vision Pro user, as a big Coldplay fan, I was very excited about that possibility.

I think I said I would buy you a Vision Pro if it happened, so you could enjoy it.

Oh, I forgot about that.

Yeah.

Now you just made this news 10 times worse for me.

So the news this week is that meta has partnered with Coldplay to bring the music of the

Sphere's tour to the quest headsets.

I'm a little bit confused about what exactly this means because it doesn't sound like

it's the full concert.

It sounds like it's some of the hit songs from the shows.

So not everything, but the big songs most people care about.

And it's done in partnership with IHeart Media.

So there's a lot of different collaborations and probably exclusivities going on here.

But the gist of it is you'll be able to

watch Colplay's Wembley shows, or at least parts of them, in immersive video on MetaQuest headsets.

I should probably know the answer to this. On Quest, do they have it in the same, like,

resolution? I do. I know, well, the Quest 3 is 4K, right?

So, yeah.

But is it like, because Apple makes, obviously, when immersive video fest came app,
