This is kind of a home away from home for me.

I don't even know how many times it's been now

that I've been here to praise Mill.

And I look forward to it every time,

if for no other reason, to stand in the pulpit where I will be reminded to

Preach the word. I love that every time I go up here right that right here it says preach the word

that's what we're about that's what praise mill is about and that's why I'm here

this morning. Amen.

In many ways, if you cut me, I bleed apologetics.

That's just kind of what I do, it's the way I think, it's the way I'm put together.

But what I've learned over the years is that many people assume they understand what that means when they don't.

When we think about apologetics a lot of Christians are intimidated by the idea of apologetics

because we feel like you know apologetics is about knowing everything about everything all the time

and so we say no I can't do apologetics because I don't know everything about everything all the time

in fact I don't know a lot about anything most of the time, right? So we can't do apologetics. And that's not true. Some people feel like apologetics.

You know, that's for the Green Beret, Navy Seal,

right, Marine Force Recon Christians, only those Special Forces Christians. Only those special forces Christians get to go and do the apologetic stuff.

And so since that's not me, obviously I'm not supposed to be involved in that apologetic stuff.

Again, not true. Some people are offended by the idea of apologetics because we've

gotten this idea mostly from some apologists that you know in order to do apologetics you have to be

a bit of a jerk it'd be a snob a know- it all. You have to be arrogant and condescending. And so, you know, since we're not
