Now you weren't always a fan of apologetics.

Can you just tell us your story a little bit

of why you came to think this is important for individual Christians and the church, especially in our cultural moment today?

Yeah, well, I wasn't always a fan of apologetics, I was a Christian early on in life and maybe that was part of it. I grew up in a Christian home and the gospel just made sense to me and I went off to college and when I was at college I played college soccer at a school in Georgia state school called Georgia Southern.

And I got really serious about my faith at the time,

but I was the only Christian on the team.

And so you would think maybe that that would be the time

where apologetics would have kind of resonated with me.

But in fact it didn't.
