I never thought that we would start a program

by going off on the college football AP poll.

But I guess I didn't realize

what a lightning rod topic

the AP poll apparently is.

The lava pigs.

That's a phrase that I coined, by the way. Hey, Hood, you can't trademark that. Not that I have, but I should. The lava pigs have focused their attention and their

magma on the AP poll this week, and the takes are pretty wild.

I mean, even the notion that that's where their intention

and their piggery is going is pretty wild.

But so are the takes.

As an example, the AP poll is broken,

or only hacks vote in the AP poll, just flat out abolish the AP poll.

It's pretty clear that all of this anger and all of this lava,

all of this is coming from one particular AP ballot this week,

from one particular USC beat writer, Haley Sawyer,
