Hello and welcome back into another episode of the Arrowhead Pride Mailbag show.

I am Steven Serta, joined by my guy, Rocky Maganya, and Rocky, we got a lot to get into on today's show, but let's just get right to it. The breaking news of the day, and it feels

like it just essentially came out of nowhere, but we finally have a resolution in the Rishi Rice case.

Now, it was announced just a couple of hours ago, Rocky, that Rishie Rice, this was reported by Fox 4 in Dallas.

Rishie Rice has officially pleaded guilty to felony

racing on the highway and felony accident causing serious bodily injury. The consequences

of that, of that accident that was roughly 15 months ago, Rocky, Rishi Rice is going to serve five years of probation.

He'll also be required to spend 30 days in the Dallas County Jail as a condition of that probation.

And this comes on the back of restitution and a settlement being reached in the civil

case that had been ongoing.

So it's kind of weird, Rocky, because we had not really seen, you know, any type of,

like, criminal proceedings, like, officially be set for this.

And so for it to come out after the civil trial and the amount that was agreed to on that, and this is

from Jesse Newell, the Kansas City Star, Rishiris agreed to pay 1.806 million in fees to settle,

which includes prejudgment interest and attorney's fee. If the full amount isn't paid, interest will be added on until it is.

So it kind of seems like there was like an agreement in place with the prosecutors or something

...
