But first, we're going to begin with something just a little bit different. I received this note this week from somebody who listens to this podcast,

and I think it contains a different perspective, probably one that's not really held or

necessarily exposed in audiences like this or elsewhere in the right-wing sphere of media.

And this individual, I'm going to not divulge the name of this individual, but I know this individual. I trust this individual,

and he's served for many years in a branch of the military. And he sent me three reasons,

three reasons that godly men need to join the U.S. military today.

And of course, the U.S. military is recruiting numbers.

We've covered that probably three or four times already this year.

Dismal, just dismal numbers, not looking very good.

One of the primary drivers of those poor recruiting numbers is that white young men and women, but primarily

men, are not joining up with the armed forces at the rate they once were.

And the individual who submitted these three reasons is a believer, a very devout believer

at that, and one of the rare individuals in the military who's staying faithful to his country while

staying faithful to his God. So I'm going to read these in these reasons for you. I think it's a

perspective that needs to be shared. Number one of three reasons why godly men need to join
