So stick around for episode 325. And the first story we have is from Matthew in Miami, Florida. One night in St. Augustine.

I've been a longtime listener of anything ghost, but I've never submitted a story before.

In fact, I only have a few paranormal experiences that I couldn't explain.

The story I'm about to tell is one of those unexplainable stories that made me a believer in the paranormal.

Back in July of 2016, my girlfriend, now wife, and I took a two-week road trip up the

east coast from our current house in Miami, Florida, to New Hampshire, stopping at multiple

major cities along the way.

The last destination on our trip before returning home was St. Augustine, Florida.

We decided to end our trip in this city due to its rich history.

St. Augustine is justifiably nicknamed the ancient city,

due to it being the oldest city in the U.S., being founded in 1565.

We booked a last-minute bed-and-breakfast and checked in as early as possible.

The bed-and-breakfast was a large blue southern-style home built in 1904.

The house was beautiful but overgrown with vegetation.

We walked through the front door, rang a doorbill on the desk,

and a few seconds later an older gentleman greeted us and began the check-in process. The entire time that he was talking to us, he was referring to and addressing his wife,

as if she was standing right next to him. His wife was nowhere in sight, though.

In fact, we never saw his wife the entire time we stayed there.

St. Augustine is known for supernatural occurrences,

so I brushed it off as an act that he does with every guest to enhance the creepy experience. He showed us to our room and told us our breakfast would be waiting at the front door at
