| 0:05.4 | made a big surge in media, thankfully, to all the talk about it on social media. So |
| 0:13.6 | you may have heard people talk about being anxious attachment, avoid an |
| 0:17.2 | attachment. And I recently made this correlation between my particular |
| 0:26.2 | attachment style and the attachment styles of my clients and how it impacts |
| 0:31.9 | your financial house, how it impacts how you behave and relate and perceive |
| 0:37.0 | money. So this new series is going to unpack your unique attachment style and how |
| 0:45.5 | that is blocking you from getting the abundance that you want if you aren't |
| 0:50.4 | aware of it. And the first step is to be aware and to be willing so that you can |
| 0:55.2 | make some shifts in order to unblock that clogged abundance funnel that you |
| 1:02.2 | have going on and you're not doing this consciously. This is subconscious stuff |
| 1:08.3 | that's been at work for many, many years. So how do attachment styles develop? |
| 1:13.6 | They come from early childhood, like, you know, everything else. The behavior |
| 1:18.1 | of the primary caregivers, so usually one's parents contributes to informs the |
| 1:22.8 | way a child perceives close relationships. So the child is dependent on his or her |
| 1:28.2 | caregivers and seeks comfort soothing and support from them. If the child's |
| 1:32.0 | physical and emotional needs are satisfied, here she becomes securely attached, |
| 1:37.2 | which is like the optimum attachment style. This, however, would require the |
| 1:43.1 | caregivers to offer a warm and caring environment and are attuned to the child's |
| 1:47.4 | needs if even when those needs aren't clearly expressed. Misattonement on the |
| 1:53.2 | side of the parent, whether it's innocently done or it's done in a toxic, |
| 1:58.8 | deliberate way, are likely to lead to insecure attachment in their children. And |
