mind aligned with the truth of God. And today we're starting in earnest on a new series

about anxiety. And you may have noticed today's episode topic is called anxiety doesn't fit

you. We're going to be looking at Luke 12 verses 1 through 3. Before we get to it though,

player or app right now. Okay, yesterday on the March 1st episode, I talked about why this issue of

anxiety is so much on my heart right now. I'm just seeing it, hearing it from believers in Christ

all the time. And I think it's important that we begin where Jesus begins when he brings up this

issue to his own disciples. We're going to find that in Luke 12 verses 1 through 3. Luke tells us

the situation by setting this in. He says in the meantime, so many thousands of people had gathered

together and this is to hear Jesus that they were trampling one another. So there's like this crowd,

this mob is pushing in. They want to get close to Jesus. And it says he began to say to his disciples

first. So get this scene. Jesus turns to his disciples. This crowd is pushing toward him and he's

going to instruct them. He's going to say something important. And he says, beware of the leaven

of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. Okay, let's stop for a moment. Pharisees were this religious

sect in the day who kind of strong armed everyone into their way of doing faith and doing religion,

faith in God. And it was built on traditions. It was built on kind of a rabbinical system, which

is just a rabbis teacher in Judaism. But it's built on this system, not on the scripture. You see,
