Summary

Hello! Today's episode is short and sweet... I'm starting off with a 10 minute audio-chapter from the audiobook of Tired as F*ck. And, that audio clip just so happens to be about anxiety, and what it's like to be a person with a normal amygdala (aka, not a psychopath).

Then, I go over the three different "categories" of anxiety you will deal with when healing your relationship with food and weight!

This episode is brought to you by Tired as F*ck, coming out on February 8th! Read the beginning! Get your pre-order bonuses!

Oh, hello. I am back. The reason that it took me so long to put out another episode is because my computer broke.

0:11.9

And I think I may have said this on the last episode. My computer was like actively breaking down before my eyes.

0:19.4

And I knew it. And I knew it.

0:21.5

And I knew I had to take it in to get fixed and probably to send away to get it fixed

0:26.8

because I thought it was hardware stuff, which it was.

And so I recorded a podcast episode and literally like five minutes after I pressed publish on that episode, like it wouldn't

0:40.8

even let me type anymore. So I had like two weeks of not having a computer, which was

0:48.2

just wonderful timing because as you may know, I am gearing up for the launch day of my second

0:56.6

book, Tired as Fuck, which is coming out February 8th, which is now 10 days away, which is crazy.

1:02.2

And it was after the holidays, you know, early January, time to work and get things ready and start doing all of these interviews and video interviews

1:16.1

and podcast interviews and my computer broke. So it was just wonderful timing. I bought a,

1:23.7

I was like, when people's car breaks, they can get a rental car while they're getting it fixed because you need a car.

1:32.3

If you live a life where you need a car, you can't just not have a car when you're getting your car fixed.

1:38.2

Why doesn't that exist for computers?

1:39.8

It's the same thing.

1:40.6

People need computers to work these days.

1:47.3

And then apparently there are like computer rental like I don't know. I wanted a Mac obviously. I wanted you know how you can like

1:54.5

rent a car that's nicer than your own. Well, anyway, so that didn't work out. But what I did do,

2:00.7

somebody recommended that I just buy

2:03.1

a Chromebook, which is like $200 just to do the most basic things in the meanwhile. And so I did.

2:14.0

And man, man, I'm spoiled with my Mac. That was just not fun using the Chromebook. I'll tell you that. But it did get the job done. And now I have one more thing to just add to my closet. And I'll probably find it in three years and be like, oh, God, what do I do with this?

2:35.9

All right.
