Former NFL star Antonio Brown was arrested Thursday in Dubai by U.S. Marshals on an attempted murder charge and extradited to the U.S.

Brown is accused of grabbing a handgun from a security staffer after a celebrity boxing match in May and allegedly firing two shots at a man he had gotten into a fist fight with earlier.

The victim told police one bullet grazed his neck.

Later on social media, Brown said he was jumped.

Miami police issued an arrest warrant shortly after.

The former star-wide receiver evaded police for more than four months, but still kept posting

on social media.

Eventually, authorities were able to piece together that he was in Dubai.

Brown has dealt with several legal problems over the years.

He was previously accused of battery of a moving truck driver,

several domestic violence charges, and failure to pay child support in other incidents.

Now he's facing a second-degree attempted murder charge that carries a maximum 15-year prison sentence.
