I'm John Batche with Thaddeus McCatter,

recovering politician, writing in American Greatness, and here to comment on events on college

campuses these last weeks that are confounding.

I named three famous elite universities because they've been much in the news,

Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, and Columbia

University, those three on the East Coast of the United States.

The trouble seems to come from the fact that the universities have strict codes about what

you can and can't say, what you can and can't write, how you can and cannot present dissent on campus until now.

Now we come to the Gaza War and all three universities stood back while members of the university were told,

protested the Israeli self-defense of its people in terminology that was meant to be and is, inarguably, anti-Semitic,

and threatening from the river to the sea means to wipe out Israel and that was chanted routinely on these
