Good evening. Can you hear me in the back? Yeah, all right. I want to thank the Red Nation for the invitation to attend and participate in the conference.

It's, you know, many of us are,

have been reading and learning from afar

about the work of the Red Nation in deepening and

expanding a center of gravity of anti-colonialism on the continent. So for me it's been

really wonderful to to be here in person.

And I'm honored to share the stage

with a group of militant committed intellectuals.

So today I want to cover three points.

Imperialism today, anti-imperialism today,

and anti-imperialism.

So I'll begin with the lead paragraph from an article which was published by Teller Sur on August 27th, this past August 27th,

on August 7th, three days before fires in the Novo Progresso region became

uncontrollable, the Federal Prosecutor's Office of the State of Parra warned the

Environmental Institute of Brazil that rich landlords were going to perform a quote day of fire

An environmentally dangerous event without any buy control by the Justice Ministry which is headed by Sergio Moro, the former judge involved in the political

imprisonment of the Workers' Party leader Lula and Asio Lula da Silva, Louise

Innacio Lula de Silver.

So this is, I think, a signal to imperialism today.

Imperialism is a project of class rule.

I think in our conversations in North America,

we've come to wrongly think of imperialism
