national security advisor was coming to an end after just 101 days, social media lit up with

comparisons to the senior advisor in Trump's first term whose tenure had set the standard for

ending quickly and unceremoniously

after making all the wrong kinds of headlines. Quote, Waltz last 9.2 scaramuchis, one wag

posted on X, later adding greater mathematical specificity, with a follow-up post that said, I am

catching flack, as Waltz's tenure is actually

For the handful of you out there living under rocks or in some distant solar system,

Skaramucci had been a hedge fund hotshot of some renown, a Nassau County native and son of a Long Island construction worker and second-generation immigrant,

who wore his lineage like a badge of honor, boasting about how he went from wearing gold chains and driving a 1979 Camaro with a power

booster in high school to graduating from Harvard Law School, working at Goldman Sachs.
