It's a collection of horror crime from post-Civil War Backwoods, Kentucky. The title is the Crooked Sowerwood.

Kentucky's Forgotten Tragedies. This book is set in post-Civil War Central Kentucky. It's in a small

mountain range just south of the

Ohio River. This area provides a setting for these tales of betrayal, corruption, and murder.

The Crooked Sirewood, Kentucky's Forgotten Tragedy. Now with a title like that, you know you can't

go wrong. And chapter titles like murder and The Tragic Death of Francis Underwood,

The Brutal X Murder of Henry Simpson, The Boonsiders, Stories of Hell's Commerce,

Going to Eat Their Suppers in Hell. Now, you know, that's got to peak your interest.

This was written by a local La Rue County, Kentucky author named Stephen L. Wright. Sometimes you may not get the

right story, as we all know. Now, Stephen Wright has done genealogical and historical research

for more than 40 years, and he has researched these cases for 30 of those 40 years.

He feels like he's fully explored each case as far as possible. So if you want
