amazing she found this dog through somebody that helps her with her horses like was over at her

barn working on her horse and was like my cousin has some dog tied up for like a year. So she basically said, okay,

give me the address. And she went and got the dog. Because yes, this dog, this Labradoodle,

whom we now call Kara, was tied up. We took her in. Then she almost died the first night we had

her. We walked out into the living room and it was a puddle of just blood and mess. We don't even know what happened. And then we were like, what? I think I remember that. We just got her. Well, we were technically fostering her because we didn't know how our kids were going to take to her. And we thought, okay, well, we'll just take her home with us for a little while, see how it goes, call it fostering, if you will.

And then she almost died. When Ben took her to the emergency room for dogs, they said that, you know, had another hour passed. Like, she wouldn't have made it. She was lifeless when we picked her up. Stevenson was wanting to come downstairs that morning and I was like, no.
