It's time for another edition of Fighting for the Faith.

Spring has sprung here in Windy and yeah I've renamed the state that I'm now located in. It's not Indiana. It is

windyanna. In fact, I don't think I have ever lived in a place where the weather changed so dramatically and so constantly.

I know that's not what you're listening.

Well, thank you for tuning in.

My name is Chris Roseboro.

You're listening to fighting for the faith

and I am your servant in Jesus Christ. And this is the program

that dishes up a daily dose of biblical discernment. The goal here is to help you to

think biblically, to help you to think critically, to get you into your

Bible and compare what people are saying in the name of Jesus Christ, in the name of God, in the name

of Christianity to the word of God.

Unfortunately, this little exercise in discernment is a must nowadays because many of the people

speaking on behalf of Jesus Christ, many of the churches that are out there that

have Christ's name on it on them, have abandoned sound biblical preaching and have replaced the gospel of Jesus Christ, well, with something else.

One of the ways it's described is moralistic therapeutic deism.

All right, well, we're starting off a new week here at fighting for the faith, and I want to announce,

I promise that today we would be announcing our winner of the worst Easter sermon of 2009,

so we'll be doing that on today's program.
