0:49.3	They're my favorite type of stories to listen to because as a black American I love to hear
0:53.4	other people's stories of being other because I know what it's like to be other.

1:01.9	But that's a very specific kind of experience and I really, really love hearing other people's
1:06.3	stories because we get to see what we have in common.
1:09.1	There's the cold switching, there's the culture shock, there's the microaggressions.
1:13.5	And it's kind of like brown people in America are kind of like one big braid and each braid
1:18.4	is made up of like individual strands and each of those strands is its own experience.
