Oh, it's officially the spookiest week of the year.

Hard to believe that Halloween is next Sunday.

It's extra hard for me to believe because my brain still thinks it's like late April.

So imagine my surprise that it's Halloween this Saturday.

Can I just say that every week is kind of spooky this

year? It really has been. I was reading over the weekend a really interesting piece about the

origins of Halloween. It started out with the ancient Celts. They celebrated a holiday called

Samhane, I think is how it's pronounced on October 31st.

And the celebration was this was the end of the farming year and the official beginning of winter.

And that holiday later became folded into Halloween because it was seen as a night when the dead would walk the earth and
