The show that nearly killed me and will eventually, inevitably, invariably, unavoidably, be the death of me. This is hell in

August of last year, shortly after my annual family summer vacation, which was immediately

followed by yet another surgery to repair a previously failed surgery and my ongoing health nightmare,

all while suffering from Lyme disease.

I needed a freaking break, so This is Hell aired what would turn out to be, unbelievably,

our third most downloaded show of 2025.

What made that episode unique from nearly every other show we have aired over our nearly 30 years on air,

other than we talked a lot about squirty cream, was that we had no guest.

There was no in-depth interview.

This has happened a few times since July 20th, 1996, when we first aired, but we have rarely

planned to not have a guest interview on the show.

What has happened has been a guest had the wrong time or date or simply

ghosts us and I've had to add lib for up to an hour if not more. It takes me between 50 and 60

hours a week to put the shows together, including the booking, writing, and research for the
