Hi everyone, this is Alexander Jane Newell, CEO of Rusty Quill with a short announcement

about some changes we're needing to make regarding how we run our Patreon.

As you know, we like to take the time to personally thank every patron who donates at least

five dollars a month with a shout out at the start of every one of our shows.

This support has been a huge factor in allowing us to grow the way we have and we could not continue to produce the content you know and love if it weren't for people's amazing generosity.

Unfortunately, it takes a surprisingly large amount of administration to ensure we thank every single person on every single

show. And, as our popularity has increased so has the number of people

that we need to thank each episode. At this point we have to concede that this reward is

just not sustainable in the long run. As a result, from Friday 13th of March 2020,

we are going to be discontinuing the reading of new patron names

at the start of episodes.

To be clear, we are still going to honor every eligible patron who has already supported us up to this point,

and we guarantee that their shoutouts will be read on all our current shows.

However, any new patrons who choose to support us after this date will not be eligible for a shout-out.

We understand that some people might be sad to hear this, but this change allows us to devote more time to improving our other

Patreon rewards such as working on more bonus content, new merchandise

and releasing a full six-part dark comedy series which will be exclusively available to patrons

later this year. We'll be giving out more information on all of these in the coming weeks and months.

As always we are incredibly grateful for everyone's support and we are going to continue doing

everything in our power to provide people with rewards that reflect just how much we value them.
