Tonight we are continuing with Anne of the island.

But first, let's take a moment to relax our minds and bodies.

Wherever you are, give your shoulders a roll, forwards and backwards, however many times feels good for you. Close your eyes and inhale deeply for four seconds. Hold for two. And then exhale out for eight.

Continue this steady breath and pay attention to how your body feels.

Without lingering for too long, just acknowledge each part of your body from the tips of your tones to the top of your head and

mindfully release any tension you find anywhere.

With one more deep breath in when you're done,

audibly sigh out your exhale and settle down while I recap our last episode. Anne was enjoying her summer so far in Avonlea, but was awaiting Diana's wedding with trepidation.

She knew that when Diana left to go and live at Fred's Farm

would be a shift in the dynamic of their relationship which she'd

cherished for so long. When the day came and managed not to get to emotional

and walk down the aisle on the arm of Gilbert Blythe

as bridesmaid and best man.

The general mirth of the evening seemed to soften Gilbert's chill towards Anne and he walked her home through Lover's Lane to Green Gables, just like old times.
