And this week we're talking about the 2014 film, Annabelle, directed by John R. Leonetti, written by Gary Doberman, and starring Annabelle Wallace, Ward Horton, and Alphrey Woodard.

In this film, a possessed doll terrorizes a young couple who are seeking a fresh start after some dramatic events.

So this film is part of the Conjuring Universe and is the only franchise that is within the universe that we have yet to cover

on this podcast. So I'm excited for us to be going down the path here. Brian, had you seen this film

before? Yes, I had seen it before, but it had been quite a while. Okay. And have you seen the other two as

well? I just watched creation like within the past week or two, but I haven't seen Annabel comes home yet.

Okay, cool.

Yeah, I haven't seen any of these, so it's been on my list for a while.

Pretty excited to take a crack at it.

So this one, it came out after the first Conjuring film, which was 2013, and is a

prequel to that film. And I want to say, like, yeah, I haven't seen these films, but the

beginning of this film is from The Conjuring movie, right?

They basically have the same beginning. Yeah, it's these nurses talking to Ed and Lorraine

Warren about their experience with this doll named Annabelle.
