isn't the right thing for the movie or you don't think that I'm ready I shouldn't do it.

Today, I'm talking with actor Anna Kendrick.

Anna's career started very early. You probably know, because you're probably familiar with her work.

She was nominated for a Tony Award by the time she was 12 years old.

She's been mostly working ever since. There were the Pitch Perfect movies, all three of them.

There was up in the air and into the woods, the Sondheim musical that was so compelling on the big screen.

She was Cinderella. She's captivated audiences,

audiences which have always included me with her comedic timing and her

incredible voice. Now like a lot of us Anna has been doing the same thing

for a very long time. She'll turn 40 next year. That's nearly three decades that

she's been acting.

Now I really love talking to people who've had this kind of early professional success.

People like athletes or scholars that we've had on the show.

Because there's always a necessary moment where it's just time to grow,

to pivot, to try something new.

But that very success, well, it often becomes the challenge.
