That was not any fun. Let me tell you that. But here we are.

In the beginning of this sacred, beautiful Advent season, Advent means arrival. It means coming.

It's a time of preparation, a time for hopeful expectancy. It's a time to make room for Jesus.

My guest today writes this, I don't want a Christmas you can buy. I don't want a Christmas you can

make. What I want is a Christmas you can hold, a Christmas that holds me, remakes me, and revives me.

I want a Christmas that whispers Jesus. My precious friend Anne Voskamp joins me today.

We're going to draw from her beautiful book, The Greatest on wrapping the full story of Christmas. And I will say,

Anne to me is one of the most brilliant writers of our time. Just unbelievable gift.
