It's February 1985 and Marin County, California, just north of San Francisco.

At the heart of a 3,000 acre estate stands the secluded home of filmmaker George Lucas's

production company, Lucasfilm.

Outside the large Victorian style mansion, the bearded and bespectacled head of Lucasfilm's

computer division, Ed Catman, waits for a special visitor.

The man he hopes will save his computer division from extinction.

Over the past two years, George Lucas has run out of money to fund Ed's graphics department

and he's ready to sell it off.

But George's had no luck until recently when the division peaked the interest of the

famous Apple executive, Steve Jobs.

So today, Ed hopes he can convince Steve to give them a chance and either buy the division

for Apple or for himself.

As Ed goes over his pitch in his head, a limousine pulls into the circular driveway of Skywalker

Ranch.

The driver jumps out and opens the door for Steve Jobs.

As Steve gets out of the car, Ed greets him with a smile.

Steve, so nice to meet you.
