Hello and welcome to this week's naked scientists with a slightly horse, Chris Smith,

and also here is Katani, High Cat.

Hello.

Now this week, how scientists in New Zealand have discovered a cow that naturally produces

diet-friendly low-fat milk, also how humans first found their feet, and why does sucking a mint make your

breath feel cold?

Well now scientists know the answer and it's coming up surely.

Also this week we're going to be exploring the world of animal behavior to ask, animals think like we do well I can tell

you for a fact my dog can't do the telegraph crossword we have n-

but neither can you

anyway we have professor nicky clayton here who's going to be explaining how members of the Crow family

can perform extraordinary feats of intelligence, including making tools, planning for rainy day,

and even using cigarettes to rid themselves of parasites.

We'll also be catching up the world's most sociable mammals,

those lovely mere cats that live in the Calahari desert. I actually used to play in a band called

Kingdom of Meer Cats. It was brilliant. And we have Andrew Smith who's going to be explaining how monkeys can always

spot a ripe and juicy piece of fruit. And we have kitchen science this week. We'll be showing

you a really, really cool experiment with some rice. So what you need is a mug, a sharp knife and

some rice and that's it. We'll be telling you how to do it shortly. So we really do need
