And he's back. Todd Havens. Hello. My name's Matt Mullins. We're two ministers and two buddies who love the stories of the Bible. We can't wait to tell you about them. And Todd, we're in a series on

angels. Today, we're going to focus in on angels as messengers.

So we know that angels, they do multiple things.

There's various stories all throughout the Bible.

We see them serving and advancing God's kingdom in a lot of different ways.

Well, today we're going to camp out a little bit on how they are as

messengers. But Matt, let's just talk about the word angel for a minute. Okay. In the Greek,

Angelos, right? Angelus literally means messenger. So angel is like a heavenly divine messenger. Their message typically comes in the form of words,

but again, man, they can be demonstrated through visual power, divine truth, all kinds of things.

Real quick, here are some facts about angels described in the Bible. This is a little shout out to Wayne

Grudem. If you don't know, Wayne Grudom, he's a systematic professor. Your boy. That's right.

That's what the kids say now, right? Right? They may. They may. Yeah. You're right. And so,

you know, he helped me out with this a little bit. But here's just some fun facts that we get from the Bible about angels.

First off, these are created beings.

God created angels.

Nehemiah 96 paraphrased is that God made all things, heavens, earth, and all of their hosts,
