Hey guys, it's Liz Kelly and I'm here to tell you about the awesome stuff we've

going on at the Ringer. It's Pizza Day on Tuesday this week. We're doing brackets.

We're talking about pizza in pop culture and our staff is breaking down which is

definitively the best pizza. Also, we are launching a brand new podcast with

Ryan Rusillo called Dual Threat. It'll be a weekly podcast focusing on both the

NFL and coach football. It'll air Wednesdays throughout the football season and

first episode is being released on Wednesday, August 29th. So read about

Pizza on Tuesday. Listen to Ryan on Wednesday and check out lots of other

good stuff on the ringer.com. And we thought like if we could put 90 minutes on

screen that make you forget that what you're watching is told in a gimmick but

rather just focus on the story like wouldn't that be a very unique experience?

That was enough for me to put together a longer pitch back at what

Sev. Give it back to them. I got approved. Tell my bosses at Google that I quit and

got on a flight and move back to LA and made a movie for tears.

The New Thriller searching takes the existential panic of that experience and

supercharges it into a story about a teenage girl's disappearance and her

father played by John Cho on a quest to find her. Every frame of the movie happens

on a computer screen and it's impressive and involving filmmaking.

The movie's co-writer and director Anish Chaganty has an amazing story of his own.
