Welcome to the treatment. I'm Elvis Mitchell. I am thrilled I have sitting across from me, Andy Daley.

Of course, you may know him from

his weird turns on Reno 911, or his interesting turn is Terrence Cutler on Eastbound and Down,

or his long-suffering in the context of the movie turn in semi-pro. He's sitting across to me

starring in his first series on Comedy Central review. First, thanks much for being here thank you so much for

having me and tell the audience a little bit what the show's about it's about a guy who uh is a reviewer

but he doesn't review food books or movies as he tells us in the opening uh package there and he's

dozing out like in the this is a movie critic to see him like sketched out with the z's coming

out yeah thank you thank you for that well you know that's a subtle critic to see him like sketched out with the Zs coming out Yeah

Thank you for that

Well you know that's a subtle nod to a backstory

That we came up with for the character

That we never even put in the series

But we just know it for ourselves

What's the backstory by the way?

That he is a former film critic

Who at some point became incapable

Of watching more than half an hour of a movie

Without falling asleep

He couldn't do it.

No matter what.
