Okay, a few things I want to get to.

I want to talk about a personal item because this morning it was announced on Twitter and with a release, not that it's any big news that anyone really cares about.

But the University of Louisville Athletic Department, Louisville, as it's called, announced a partnership consultancy, strategic advisor relationship with your friendly podcast host.

So I have been consulting with and advising Louisville Athletics actually since January 1 when I signed on.

Their athletic director is a guy named Josh Hurd, H-E-I-R-D, and I think the world of him,

and he worked at Villanova years ago as Deputy A.D. under Mark Jackson, who's now AD, at Northwestern.

And we developed a relationship then, but not very close, but he tabbed me in the fall as he was sitting in these ACC meetings and hearing

all the changes ahead and the house settlement and what's coming and direct payments to schools

and pro sports coming to college sports. And he actually texted me or emailed during those meetings

and wanted to have a conversation. And basically, in so many words,

said, can you help us? And help them with a world of college sports becoming more like professional

sports every day. As everyone knows, this has all become a different world. Now, what you've seen

around college sports are a lot of GMs being hired with NFL and NBA backgrounds.
