So is dopamine the only driving force in why we seek to accomplish something?

I would say it is the primary driving force.

Dopamine is the molecule that is creating motivation, craving, and drive for things that are outside our immediate possession or experience beyond the confines of our skin. So seeking new relationship, seeking a new item

that you want to buy, seeking a degree, seeking a win,

seeking a trope, okay, seeking.

But there's another set of rewards

that have to do with the feelings of pleasure that we derive from things that we already have.
