I love that song. Welcome to Middays. I'm Susie Larson. So glad to have you listening today. In fact, we join you every single day, hopefully to bring you conversations that inspire you in your faith walk, deepen your understanding of God's word, and heighten your awareness of

his very real presence in your life. Well, in the Bible, Jesus talks about the wheat and the

tears, about those who follow Christ and those who pretend to follow Christ. And scripture does say

that many will actually, quote, unquote, do ministry in Jesus' name. But they'll come a day when

Jesus says, I never knew you. We did not

have a relationship. Well, you know, there are true followers of Christ and those who pretend to follow

him. But there's another camp of those who had a sincere transaction. They trusted Christ.

They are Christ followers, but they sort of disengage their heart. And you know, when you go through

the motions and you disengage your heart, guess what happens? You disengage your faith. And then nothing

happens in the spiritual atmosphere. You go through the motions, you sing the songs, but your

heart's not engaged. Nothing's changing in the atmosphere. So guess what? It matters not only

that we're all in, but that we're fully engaged. Well, I'm so excited to welcome to the show, Andy Andrew.
