So it was first published in the US by Dodd Mead in October 1944 and then actually

much later by Collins Crime in the UK in March 1945. Before we even get

into our usual breakdown this novel also affords me an opportunity to go back to

Ag of the Christie's autobiography because...

Do you know, Camper, I have to say sometimes I get a little hesitant when you go down that

rabbit hole, but in this case I am very much looking forward to what you are going to tell our listeners.
