Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call the mind all those we've promised to pray for, especially for little Olivia

Canelia and for Damien and for all those that are on our minds and hearts.

Now today I'm blessed to be with Sister Susan and she will be offering our meditation. So Susan, thank you.

And he began to teach them many things.

I was struck yesterday at Sunday's Mass when I listened to the

gospel and began to reflect on it. There were many things to think about and to meditate upon, but for some reason those

last, literally the last few words of the last sentence of the gospel jumped out at me.

And I just read those words and he began to teach them many things.

Actually I had to stop dead in my spiritual tracks.

That's something I like to say every once in a while.

When something like this sentence and these words

jump off the page and hit me like more than a 2 by 4 like a train in some ways.

Every once in a while, doesn't that happen to all of us?

I say every once in a while that something just jumps out at you

while you're praying and meditate on God's words or listening to the rosary. Now I'm not

saying it happens all the time, in my case at least it doesn't, but when it does, it is striking.

It makes you want to stay and just be with our Lord. Just be with Him. To savor Him, to love Him, to relish Him, and to drink from that infinite well of living water that comes from his sacred heart.
