| 1:31.8 | trauma educator David Trelevin and his team are doing in this area and of course if you |
| 1:38.4 | feel like you're struggling consistently I would encourage you to speak with a healthcare |
| 1:43.4 | professional or a therapist. When I first started meditating my anxiety was overwhelming |
| 1:50.2 | and I got a lot of benefits from working with a therapist at the same time as I started |
| 1:55.4 | my meditation practice. Meditation as a practice is there to help strengthen your attention |
| 2:03.7 | to help calm the nervous system and provide a space in which you can heal and restore. |
| 2:09.7 | So we want to make sure that you have the right tools at your disposal for that to happen. |
| 2:16.4 | And the following tools are called anchor points meaning a point or an object to focus |
| 2:22.1 | our attention on in our meditation practice. By focusing the attention like this it helps |
