Bob, good to be with you again.

We just finished up our series on fear and now we're moving

into a topic that I would say is probably one of the most basic things that when it

comes to healing.

I don't know, I feel like this is what most people think about when they think about

healing is the series we're about to get into now what you've labeled.

I really like this phrase, the anatomy of a wound and all the various dynamics that come up in a

wounds. Any initial thoughts before we kind of dive in? Yeah that was actually

Father Mark Toopes when we were working with a seminary and we were

discussing this he then put that label on it, so I thought that really fit.

Yeah, I really like that.

So, listeners, we're going to dissect what is a wound and what's all the stuff that goes on in a wound and all of that and so this

introduction episode is just a time for you to get acquainted with these general ideas

and then each episode after we're just gonna unpack each specific thing.

So we have a scripture for today and it comes from Psalm 34 verse 18 and it says the Lord is near to the broken-hearted and

saves the crushed and spirit Psal'm 3418.
