Near the end of his time on earth Jesus became a scapegoat for nefarious politicians.

Plus, his popularity ignited the wrath of religious leaders.

They accused Jesus of making false claims about his deity.

Everything culminated in an emotionally charged courtroom

where a debate about his character ensued.

Today on Insight for Living, Chuck Swindall continues to tell the unfolding story recorded in the Gospels.

He describes a sobering scene that forces a personal question,

Who is Jesus to me?

Believers come together for the simplicity of worship, hopefully not interrupted by needless

words and unimportant non-essential talk.

But we gather free of political motives and open before the Lord for his leading and instruction that we might guide our lives

a right.

God doesn't adjust his standard to our lifestyle. We adjust our lives to his truth.

It just may be that you come today in need of course correction. And I do, I need this this instruction today in how to live when going through times that are unjust and unfair.

And as our Lord did and in the midst of this study which in looking at a chart could seem very pedantic

it is not that at all it's a very appropriate and practical study as we will see by the time we get to the end of it.

Let's bow together for prayer.
