My name is Annabelle Sharman, I am a grandmother, Bushwoman, Healer, Rider, Visionary, Cultural

Conservationist, Creative, Social Worker, and Community Member from Robin Vale.

In the Mally of Victoria, Australia, where the Murray River flows through.

I am a proud Australian Aboriginal woman of the Muddy Muddy Tribe, grown and raised in

a large extended family among the gumtrees, the Murray River, and Red Dirt running

through me.

Fifty years of age is a long time and a lot of experiences are harm moments, magical

moments and moments where, by the grace of God, you felt so lucky, grateful and alive.

For me, my first memory was seen through my eyes as a new baby, and my auntie and uncle

reaching in to pick me up from a makeshift cot made in the bottom drawer of the cupboard.

I can remember the exact location, the time of day, and their faces.

I can also remember and feel the love as I was scooped up from the draw.

That love was woven through our large extended family to my other siblings, me being the youngest
